This weekend the University of Oklahoma is hosting the Air Force Academy on Saturday at 2:30 at Owen Field here in Norman. Armed Forces Network will be broadcasting the game around the world. We have been told there is going to be an AWESOME pregame and even a more SPECTACULAR halftime show as we host the cadets from the Air Force Academy. It is our chance for OU Fans to say thanks to not only the cadets who have chosen to serve in the Air Force but to our many fans who have or are serving in the military.
Family is coming in for the weekend for the game so unless something spectacular happens this will be the last post on DfS until late Sunday. This is football weekend in Norman, Oklahoma!
Visited the Air Force Academy this summer while in Colorado -- this picture is taken from an overlook as you drive in the north entrance to the Academy. What a beautiful place to put the Academy at the foothills of the Rocky Mountains.
